why omega counsel
I started my career as a trial attorney in New York City’s federal immigration courts. I handled more than 500 contested cases, and part of the job was reading the other side’s brief and finding where it was weak.
You get good at spotting a rushed brief. And most of the time, the lawyers behind it weren’t the problem. They were capable. They just didn’t have the hours, and it showed on the page. Sometimes the other side had more people to throw at the briefing. Sometimes the brief went to whoever had room that week.
I built Omega for those firms. You keep the strategy, the witnesses, and the client. I take the writing, and I do it the way I’d want it done if my name were on it.

I read every authority I cite and check how it’s been treated since. I check every factual claim against the record. Nothing goes in because it showed up in another brief.

I read the file, do the research, write the draft, and take your calls. It comes back in your house style, ready for you to review.
WHO I WORK WITH
Some of the firms I work with are solo practitioners with a case bigger than their calendar. Some have thirty attorneys and a docket that’s full for the month. The size of the firm matters less than the situation: there’s a filing that needs to be right, and nobody has the time to do it properly.
I only work with law firms and attorneys, nationwide.
