CLIENT RESULT

$3,000 bond

$3,000 bond

No government appeal. Houston.

“Bond granted, $3,000, government did not appeal. Those last two points are miracles these days. Nobody’s giving bonds under $15,000 in Houston, and the government is always appealing. Thanks for your part.”

Wendler Law Group | Jack drafted the motion supporting the bond request.

METHOD

Every citation verified.

I read and check every authority for current treatment. No fabricated cases. No surprises at the hearing.

EXPERIENCE

500+ contested cases.

Argued as a trial attorney in New York City. I write with a clear understanding of what judges need from a brief.

Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

THE PROCESS

I don’t write a word until step seven.

PHASE ONE

Understand

01

The task, the file, the facts

what you need, what the record shows, what’s at stake.

02

The governing law

the statutes, rules, and controlling precedent that apply.

03

The real issues

where the facts meet the law, including the ones you didn’t flag.

PHASE TWO

Build

04

Research each issue

authority for every point, and the authority against it.

05

The theory

the argument a judge can actually rule on.

06

The outline

the structure, settled before any drafting begins.

PHASE THREE

Write & verify

07

The draft

written from scratch to your court’s rules and your house style.

08

Read and revise

until it reads like it came from your own office.

09

Line-by-line verification

every factual claim checked against the record, every citation checked against the authority.

Nothing reaches you until step nine is done.

WHY NOT AI?

AI has read every brief. It has never watched one lose.

01

Arguments from the courtroom, not the average.

AI predicts what a typical brief would say. I’ve argued hundreds of contested hearings, so I write the argument a skeptical judge can actually rule on.

02

Strategy built around your record.

A model answers the question you type. I read the record and find the issue you didn’t flag, before opposing counsel does.

03

Every authority is real and current.

Lawyers have been sanctioned for filing cases a chatbot invented. Every citation I deliver has been read in full and checked for current treatment.

04

Filings you can certify without hesitation.

A growing number of judges require counsel to disclose or certify AI use in filings. With my work, that certification is simple and true.

WHO WRITES YOUR BRIEF

One attorney, accountable for every page.

John (Jack) Baden, Esq.

I started my career as a trial attorney in New York City, on a high-volume docket of contested matters: motion practice, pre-hearing briefing, evidentiary analysis, oral advocacy.

I built Omega on one standard: the firm that hires me should be able to sign what I deliver. I’m not a marketplace or an agency. When you hire Omega, you work with me, on every matter. I take a limited number of engagements each month so each one gets the hours it needs.

THE STANDARD

From first call to filed draft.

I read the record myself.

The pleadings, the prior orders, the parts of the transcript that matter.

Quick review & touch base

I perform a conflict review and confirm schedule availability. I then confirm project objectives, required deliverables, and deadlines.

Clear plan & pricing

You get a straightforward written summary of what I'll do, exact delivery dates, and a clear flat fee or hourly rate so there are no surprises.

I handle the writing

Work begins immediately. Your firm receives structured, fully cited drafts formatted strictly to your internal house style and local court rules.

THE MARGIN

Billed to your client, the
work can pay for itself.

Under ABA Formal Opinion 08-451, you can bill my work to your client, including a reasonable surcharge, as long as the total fee is reasonable. At $170 an hour, most firms bill the same work at a higher rate. The difference is margin, with no salary, benefits, or supervision attached.

WORKING TOGETHER

Start with one matter.

Single matter

From $510

One filing, one binding fee, no commitment. Most firms start here. Your first engagement is protected: if the draft doesn’t meet the agreed written scope and a revision round doesn’t fix it, the second half isn’t due.

Ongoing support

From $6,000 / month

For firms that file every month: reserved priority time with Jack, or flexible credit that rolls over.

Month to month. Scale back or pause when your docket slows.

Clients

What clients say.
